Seth Conant, Attorney

Seth Conant has focused his entire career as an attorney on family law. To him, the most important part of his job is helping families move to the next chapter of their lives efficiently and with dignity while always acknowledge the importance of nurturing their children.

Seth brings a deep commitment to thoroughly understanding all aspects of client’s circumstances and the legal, emotional and personal aspects that surround them, so that a unique and valuable path forward can be created for them.

Seth finds inspiration in the unique opportunity family law offers in helping people to shape their futures. For whatever reason someone may find their way to the doors of Freed Marcroft, when they arrive, they are standing at the gateway to a new beginning. The opportunity for Seth to stand with them as they move past their challenges with hope and confidence and create a new, self-authored life is fundamentally rewarding for him.

Seth earned his undergraduate degree from Boston College and his J.D. from Western New England University School of Law. Seth is a member of the Hartford County, Connecticut and American Bar Associations. He is also a member of the Collaborative Divorce Lawyer Association, and has completed advanced training in collaborative divorce and mediation.

Seth is a frequent presenter on divorce and other family law issues at continuing legal education seminars, and values the opportunity that sharing his experience and understanding of family law that presenting offers.

It’s important to know that Seth is an excellent cook. In fact, he cooked professionally for years at some of the finest restaurants in Connecticut. He also loves the outdoors, especially camping and fly fishing. Mostly, he never gets tired of stepping into the woods and finding something completely new to discover.
